Meals are available from June 1 – July 30 at Branford Elementary School and Suwannee High School.
Meals will be available Monday–Thursday with breakfast being offered from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Weekend meals may be picked up on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please note: SCSD will be closed on Thursday, July 2. Families may pick up weekend meals on Wednesday, July 1 instead.

All Suwannee County School District schools will follow the Early Release Bell Schedule on Friday, May 22, which is the last day of school for students.
Please plan accordingly.

In the event of inclement weather, the following backup plans will be in place:

• If postponed, graduation will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Out of an abundance of caution, SMS and all other SCSD schools in the area went into an immediate lockdown.
The SMS campus was throughly swept and found the claim to be invalid and no imminent threat was on campus.
Following a complete check of the campus, SMS and all other SCSD schools resumed normal operations.
Thank you to Live Oak Police Department and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and assistance on ensuring our students and faculty members safety.
